2023 Halloween Costumes

“If it’s a Joke, I love it. If it’s not, Can’t wait to Unpack that with you later.” Can you name that quote and guess our halloween costumes?? It’s from one of our favorite TV Series, Ted Lasso. It is so hard to find a TV show that both Aaron and I love, but Ted Lasso definitely delivered, especially in it’s first couple seasons. We decided this year we would go as Roy Kent and Keeley Jones! What do you think?

Keeley Jones Halloween Costume

I have to say she is a very fun Halloween costume!! Keeley is everything loud and over the top while still wearing business clothes. It was so fun to wear a big pink fuzzy coat along with all the glitz and glam! I found the perfect coat at Forever 21, bought most of my accessories on Amazon including a very fun 90s sequin purse which I will totally reuse! I even found some pink pom poms for my hair. The best thing is with the coat, I had so many options for what I wore underneath. Originally, I had purchased a pink plaid skirt, but when I found out we were playing minute to win-It games at our party, I changed my mind on the skirt. So glad I did!!

Roy Kent Halloween Costume

First of all, this character lends itself to a few options for Halloween costumes which is great! Aaron went the futball route with the jersey, but you could also wear a black on black suit and tie. Aaron really got into character and yelled “WHISTLE” all night. I was dying.

We were both laughing because these characters are somewhat exaggerated versions of our own personalities… so It was fun to just lean into It for the night! And, I couldn’t believe It… our friends showed up to the party dressed as Rebecca and Ted. What a fun Ted Lasso Halloween coincidence!
