This is why I am so thankful for wonderful planners like Julie at Events by Jules. Being a wedding planner is what I’ve wanted since I was about 19, but I got very lucky when I decided to launch in 2011 that I had several girlfriends getting married. I was able to really learn, grow, and add to my portfolio. What makes Events by Jules stand out amongst other wedding planning companies?
Me! That’s really what it comes down to. If you’re an established business, it’s really likely that you have a great design aesthetic and pretty seamless systems in place for your couples and their planning process. As the couple getting married, you need to choose the planner you click with best. Your planner isn’t a one-off vendor; you’ll be spending a lot of hours with this person. I love getting to build relationships with my clients and infuse their love story into their big day! It’s also really likely that I’ll make you laugh…a lotWhat is one thing the readers may be surprised to learn about Events by Jules?
I actually hate weddings as a guest! Ha! People are always shocked by that one. But I’m not a big drinker, I don’t enjoy dancing, and I’m so entrenched in the behind the scenes of weddings that I’m constantly checking the time and focusing on the details. It’s what makes me an excellent planner and a terrible guest. How do you help to make each wedding unique for each couple?
By infusing their love story and making sure their wedding is a cohesive brand (that is to say, keeping every element of their wedding day cohesive.) Learning about my couples, their likes, dislikes, how they met, the hobbies they share, etc. is such an important part of the process to me!Is there anything else you would like to share with the readers?
I also own Dallas Girl Friday, where I’m a systems strategist and virtual assistant to wedding professionals!
