The Maid by Nita Prose | March’s Book

The Maid by Nita Prose was a murder mystery unlike any other. I thoroughly enjoyed this book for its witty humor, and unsuspecting characters. Molly the Maid works at the finest hotel, she follows the rules to perfection, and she cleans to perfection. Will her attention to detail help her or hurt her when she finds herself the suspect of a murder?

Molly has a quirky personality and doesn’t quite understand social norms. She constantly does her best to interpret people’s words, but has no friends despite her efforts. She finds herself in the midst of situations she believes she understands, but as the reader I found myself laughing at the situations she was in. The Maid by Nita Prose is so different from other mystery books and you can’t stand to put the book down.

Nita prose was an editor for years before she wrote this book, and I can’t help but to think that this novel is so amazing and unique because she has read so many others.
