Scott and Emma: Austin Engagement

These two are the cutest!! I had so much fun taking their engagement photos in Austin, TX! Emma moved back to Austin after college and her friend asked her to play on an outdoor coed soccer team, which led her to meeting Scott one Saturday afternoon! After a few team events, Scott asked her to dinner. They had their first date at a restaurant called Vespaio on South Congress (you’ll see some photos of their first date spot as you scroll through).

Four years passed quickly as they had many more dates, soccer games, travel and lots of fun together!

This past Summer, Emma took a month off and headed to Spain to hike the El Camino de Santiago Trail. Scott wasn’t able to take the whole month off work, but he did manage to make a trip out there for 11 days during the middle of Emma’s trek. Little did she know that he had traveled around the world to propose!

The sun was rising one early morning, they were just starting mile two of their long hike that day on the top of this beautiful green mountain, when Scott got down on one knee to propose. It couldn’t have been more perfect! The hike went by quickly as they were so excited and all smiles, excited to tell their families.
