Meggie Taylor Gallery Grand Opening
I can’t even begin to express how grateful I am for all of you the came to the Grand opening! It was such a fun day filled with community and celebration. I have always loved art, and it has been a dream of mine to own a gallery for a long time! However, I didn’t think it would be a reality anytime soon. I know it’s been a week already, but I had to share some photos from the BIG day!
This gallery wouldn’t even be possible without my supportive husband, who had to hunt down all of my frames and prints and pick them up in order to have them hanging on the walls for the opening day. He encouraged me to chase my dreams, hung photos, painted walls, helped move my desk and talked me through SO many retail procedures I didn’t even know about. I am so grateful for him! It doesn’t stop there. I have had so many friends sending encouraging texts and phone calls, flowers, helping paint walls, hang wallpaper, make decor decisions. I honestly feel like this space is a shared space with so many friends and family members!
Another thank you goes out to Mary Aden, the very talented artist whose show is diplayed in the gallery until the end of December. She is so talented! Her use of colors is so fun and whimsical and fit perfectly with my space.
I want to also say a special thank you to Brides of North Texas for sponsoring our event! They went above and beyond helping me with my new space! They also gave away fun swag bags and magazines. Later in the evening, we had live jazz music played by Will Thompson.
Special Thanks to…
