This Oklahoma wedding was so beautiful! It was a beautiful day and you could tell each and every detail was carefully thought out by the amazing couple. There were bits of the Southwest throughout the entire day, and it was done so elegantly and classically. One of my favorite things about weddings these days is that people put their own flare into the small details. Matt works with cattle for a living and in the middle of the ceremony they took a hot branding iron and melted their brand into a piece of wood. The best part was that the piece of wood was signed by all of their guests as a guest book. Rachel loves the succulents and the serapes and she used them along with her beautiful teepee as design details. I LOVED this wedding, it made me feel like I was at home with all the cacti around.
When I first met Rachel and Matt, I just fell in love. They were so fun, easy going, and down to Earth. Having a conversation with them came so naturally. Not only are they great people individually, they make a wonderful couple.
Rachel and Matt were meant to be together, and watching them tie the knot was such a fulfilling moment. And, not only was it a stunning wedding and beautiful ceremony, but it was the first wedding where Aaron agreed to be my official second shooter. My husband, the cowboy, happily helped me with my dream job, can you believe it? I mean, I can. He has a natural eye for photos. And, God knows he has listened to me critique mine all the time. I am so glad he was willing to do that with me, and Rachel and Matt loved him. Rachel has known Aaron for a long time. And, the four of us went out to eat after their engagement session and truly enjoyed our time. Too bad we don’t live closer!
