Pink peonies, slices of wood, mason jars, their home church, and a forrest of trees…the recipe for details and a beautiful setting for the newly married, Collin and Heather Anderson!
These two! My Sister-in-law and “Red on the Noodle” got hitched! Heather and Collin are both so special to me for many reasons, but it was even more special to get to play a very involved role in their wedding day! It’s crazy to me to think that Heather and Collin have been dating longer than I have even known my husband! These two were so ready to tie the knot in front of all of their family and friends. Heather’s family (The Taylors) and Collin’s family (The Andersons) have been very good family friends for a long time. The bride and groom grew up going to the same church and shared a lot of the same friends.
Once they started dating it was so fun for the families who already knew (and liked) each other, but also a little scary as they didn’t want anything to come in between their friendship. These two crazy kids made it through ups and downs in their relationship and knew that life without each other wouldn’t be life at all, which made for a one big happy family!
This wedding was the first wedding that I have had the opportunity to be in, as well as be the photographer. Crazy, right? I have seen people do it and I wondered how. I got the best of both world’s that day! It was such a blessing. I am so happy that these two are together and I am happy Collin is now officially part of the family!
