It was Saturday, January 16th and it was my first wedding of the year! What a way to kick off 2016! Shelby and Andrew had a beautiful wedding at Poetry Springs Events in Terrell, TX. Every detail was thought through and carefully planned from the blankets (it was a mere 41 degrees) to chandeliers. This wedding was beautiful! From the moment I arrived, Shelby was stunning! She had that wedding glow about her. Andrew was anxiously awaiting the time to see his bride. Their two puppies were dressed to the nines with gorgeous flowers around their necks. This is the kind of wedding girls plan for years and years and photographers dream of shooting. Everything looked so beautiful! The cake was perfectly placed on a rustic cake stand made from a tree stump, with their initials etched in the wood. Detail after detail made my little photographer heart go pitter patter. Silver birds and succulents graced the tables, along with gold pinecones and water colored table numbers.
The first look was one of the best moments! I think I cry every time people do a first look. It is such a great time to spend with the one you love and to talk to them about your day before you walk down the aisle. With the looks in their eyes, I could tell this was a forever love!
The weather that day had a mind of its own, so chairs were put out fifteen minutes before the ceremony. The floral lined archway was stunning and the perfect backdrop for this gorgeous couple. I will never forget this beautiful day that two wonderful people stood in front of their family and friends and committed their lives to one another with laughter and tears. Andrew and Shelby, I wish you many many years of wedded bliss! Thank you for choosing me to be a part of your special day!
