Collin + Heather’s Winter Proposal

When Collin asked me if I would take photos of his proposal to Heather I got all giddy and jumped up and down…because the only thing better than someone you loved getting proposed to is WATCHING the proposal! Proposals are so intimate and it almost feels as though you shouldn’t watch because you want to give them a private moment to gush about each other, but I LOVE watching them! They are beautiful. When love is expressed it is in it’s most beautiful form. And, guys are so creative nowadays! Anyways, I of course agreed to photograph Collin’s proposal right away.

We went to the Dallas Arboretum right after the holidays while their 12 Days of Christmas display was still up. The Taylors (Heather’s family) and the Andersons (Collin’s family) have been family friends for a long time and so we all went together! When we got to the 6th day, Collin pulled Heather close and handed her a note. Then she read the note and he got down on one knee, pulling the ring out for her to see. It was such a lovely sight. Love was in the air and I felt so blessed to be there.
