Brad + Irene’s Violet Windsor Wedding

“Marriage is like a pair of chopsticks. You need to work together to enjoy it.” This was how Philip, the father of the bride began his toast, and I couldn’t agree more. Marriage is all about working together. It is bringing two lives from different families, different ways of doing things, sometimes different cultures, and working together to accomplish the same goals.
Irene was one of the first brides I met with once I moved to Texas. It was so fun to visit with her and I knew I was going to enjoy spending time with her! She and Brad are so perfect together! Aaron and I had the privilege of attending their rehearsal dinner and I just have to say that I LOVED it! Not only was the food amazing, as only Roy’s can do! But, the toasts were phenomenal. I loved hearing more about their beautiful and perfectly matched relationship. Family members and friends alike couldn’t have been more excited for this marriage and that is such a magical thing to witness!
The wedding day of Brad and Irene did not disappoint, with beautiful violet flowers, ivy covering the sides of the venue, ecstatic family and friends, and amazing food. I know I have mentioned this before, but Irene is a food blogger. She owns Chomp Dallas, and food was definitely a priority at this wedding. But, in my opinion, the most noteworthy items were the cakes! They were stunning and they were very delicious! I made sure to sneak a bite! Brad and Irene, I hope you enjoy your time in Greece and I wish you the best in your lifelong journey together!
