The first year of marriage. Have you experienced it? If you have what was it like? If it was years ago, can you remember? What did you love about it? What was challenging?
Daniel and Paige are beautiful people inside and out. Aaron and I met them in our life group at church and the more we learn about them, the more they amaze us! They are both very diligent, hard-working, determined individuals. They seem to know what they want in life, and they spend the time needed to go and get it, together. They love the Lord with all their heart, this is evident if you just spent one minute talking to them. When I asked them about their first year of marriage Dan said, “Most people say the first year is the hardest. Those people typically only stress about the adjustments of moving in together. Our first year involved home buying, a new career, the beginning of Doctorate program, the passing of a lovely mother and the loss of a great dog. But overcoming and working through these life changes only proved that we were truly meant for one another.” And, Paige said, “Marriage to Daniel had been exactly the way you hope the first year of marriage would go. We had a lot of obstacles and events that took an emotional toll but I couldn’t imagine going through them without him. He has been the most supportive and incredible husband to date. I can’t imagine doing this life without him!”
I was so excited to get to take their anniversary photos! You can just see how much they love each other and lean on each other in the photos. What wonderful people! Daniel and Paige, I wish you many more wonderful years of marriage to come, hopefully with a few less obstacles. But, you are an inspiration to so many people by sharing all that you have gone through and now you’re even more in love.
