Andy + Kalen White

The first question most people ask is how did you meet… Their answer depends on which one of them you ask! If you ask Kalen she’ll say they met at church, if you ask Andy he’ll tell you they met at a bar… Both would be correct! Andy and Kalen had mutual friends at their young adults church service on Tuesday night called The Porch, afterwards they would all usually go grab a bite to eat. The official introduction happened at a bar and grill in Dallas called the Rustic. Andy and Kalen had no intentions of dating one another in the beginning…Andy was in his off season of baseball but would soon be returning for spring training while Kalen studied her days away in nursing school. But God had different plans! As adamant as Andy had been he was not leaving to play baseball with a girlfriend, Kalen was just too wonderful to let go.

They dated for almost three years until Andy was finally able to surprise Kalen and pop the big question! As Kalen was busy planning her mother’s 50th birthday party, it was a great distraction for Andy to plan the perfect proposal. Kalen flew to Kansas City to host her mother’s party and she was left with the impression that Andy was unable to make the trip due to work restrictions. Little did she know, Andy was on the flight behind her to execute the perfect proposal! Kalen knew the plan was to head to dinner that Friday night to her mom’s favorite restaurant on the Plaza, Brio. Once they arrived, they were lead upstairs where Kalen’s mom literally pushed her outside on the balcony. Here Andy rounded the corner in her favorite blue suit and got down on one knee. Kalen was in such shock no words would come out. A nod yes had to suffice! Both their families were there to join in the excitement and her soon to be sister-in-law photographed it all! The night was perfect!

That brings us to the wedding day. After months of planning, it’s time to watch this beautiful couple exchange vows and promise their lives together.
