Luke + Michelle Phillips
A wedding begins with planning and the planning starts after a proposal. Luke decided to take Michelle to the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens. It was a freezing winter day, and Michelle was dressed to the nines wearing a beautiful dress and high heels. She was expecting to go to a nice dinner afterwards. Being a little nervous, Luke arrived a couple hours earlier than he had planned. He had already lined up a photographer, but they wouldn’t be there for 3 more hours. So, he took Michelle around to look at all the beautiful flowers, the whole time trying to stall. Every time they reach a gazebo or a terrace and they would stop, Michelle thought “this is it”. When it didn’t happen multiple times she started to think it wasn’t going to happen. It was so cold and the sweet gentleman that Luke was just knew he couldn’t offer his coat to Michelle because the ring was in the pocket. She started to grow tired of the cold and almost said they should probably leave, but Luke took her to the most beautiful spot in the gardens and got down on one knee. It was the perfect moment. After they finished celebrating and crying tears of joy, Luke told Michelle all about the photographer he had planned. They re-enacted the proposal for the photos. It was an amazing day!
Fast forward to their wedding day, September 9, 2017 and these two were a match made in heaven. I just loved Michelle’s elegant, perfectly tailored dress and the use of so many beautiful blush and white flowers! The colors were soft and romantic, the first look was perfect. The bridesmaids dresses were the perfect choice. The cream lace top with the pleated blush skirts really added everything. Everything about the day went very smoothly. Needless to say, Michelle and Luke are a dream and this wedding was absolutely wonderful! Congrats, Mr. and Mrs. Phillips!
