Manic Monday

How was your week? I honestly can’t believe how quickly it went! This week was FULL and wonderful! Everything from seeing Mark Cuban, to being published on How He Asked, to planting my favorite flower… here’s my week in a nutshell.

Leaving Behind

My anger toward my adorable puppy, Gus, who decided it was a good idea to chew through my new gold sparkly shoes.  That will be a hard one to forgive.

Bringing with Me

Meggie Taylor was published on How He Asked this week! How exciting! Being published is one of my favorite feelings. I am one of my toughest critics and seeing other people validate my work is so reaffirming as a creative. I just feel so honored.

I went to my first Mavericks game with our Wrangler friends and watched the game from a suite! What a life! And, I could see Mark Cuban, the owner (or as I know him, from Shark Tank). He was far away, but it still counts, I saw him!

For the first time this year, Aaron and I got to spend an entire Saturday together! Woot! I was jumping around the house the whole week chanting “Saturday!” Because of weddings and engagement session (which I LOVE!!) and Aaron’s traveling for work, it is hard to find a Saturday that we can both enjoy and just do nothing.

This Saturday, we took Gus for a walk (which was more like he took us for a walk) and then we stopped at Lowe’s and bought some plants for our garden. This spring we will have tomatoes, jalepenos, and brussel sprouts to start us off! And, we also got some tulips which we planted in our front yard. I can’t wait to see their happy colors bloom!

ManicMonday_0683ManicMonday_0682We also got to catch up with some of our favorite people while playing Top Golf and ended the night riding around in their Jeep to see if I REALLY want one. I liked it a lot! There may be a Jeep in my way way future if I’m lucky!

I have completely binge watched my way through seasons 1-3 of New Girl on Netflix! Sometimes I really relate to Jess. I’m not sure if that’s a good or a bad thing.

Hope this next one’s a good one for you!! Talk to you soon!
